As of 17 August Lund University will initiate a stepwise return to campus-based work and education, provided that conditions allow with regards to the pandemic. The current decisions by the Vice Chancellor on June 17 and the Dean of the Faculty of Science on June 23 provide a time table for the return to campus. Key dates:
Education at basic and advanced levels:
17 Aug. to 31 Oct.: Successive return to campus-based teaching to the extent possible following a risk assessment, which is approved by the Head of Department. Digital teaching and examination may still occur in specific cases, but must be preceded by an application for deviation from course plan if applicable.
1 Nov. -: Full return to campus-based education throughout Lund University.
Work (research, research education, technical duties and administration):
-15 Sep.: Work from home as a rule. Presence that is required is decided by line manager.
16 Sep. to 31 Oct.: Risk analysis and scheduled presence are recommended to avoid congestion.
1 Nov. -: Full return to normal.
Meetings:
-16 Aug.: All meetings remain digital.
17 Aug. – 15 Sep.: Meetings with only a few participants may be physical.
16 Sep. – 31 Oct.: Regular physical meetings are allowed as long as they follow the recommendations by FHM.
1 Nov. -: Full return to normal conditions as needed.
Business travel:
-15 Sep.: Business travel should be avoided. Exceptions to be approved by the line management.
16 Sep. -: Business travel that follows general recommendations by FHM & UD is allowed following approval by the line management.
